Explanation

Reviewing the Patterns

These three structures help you talk about what happened, what you have experienced, and how you summarize activities.

Verb-たことありますします
The た-form is used for simple past events. Use 〜ことがある to express life experiences (e.g., 'I have been to Japan'). Use 〜たり〜たりする to list representative actions, implying there were other things you did as well.

Tip

Remember that 〜たり〜たり must end with する (or a conjugated form like します) to be grammatically complete.

Advanced Notes

A few extra details for your reference.

When using 〜たり〜たり, you can list as many actions as you like, but usually two or three are sufficient. If you only list one action with 〜たり, it implies that there was at least one other action that you are choosing not to mention.
