Once, travel was a leap into an uncertain future under the names of adventure and exploration. However, in today's information-driven world, landscapes are consumed in advance via social media, and there is a tendency to favor experiences that are pre-arranged. Travel that pursues only efficiency eliminates the 'uncertainty' that is the very essence of travel—the chance encounters and unexpected discoveries. True travel is not about tracing destinations marked on a map, but is the very process of exploring the unknown territories sleeping within oneself.
