この状況を「伝統の希薄化」と捉える人もいるが、むしろ「伝統の民主化」と見るべきではないだろうか。物理的な距離や時間の制約を超えて、多様な人々が伝統芸能に触れる機会が増えたことは、文化の裾野を広げる大きなチャンスである。技術を継承する形は変わっても、その本質的な価値を次代に伝えるという使命は、デジタル時代においても決して揺るぐことはない。

This digitalization is bringing about major transformations in the world of traditional performing arts. Techniques and knowledge that were once considered absolute to be passed down directly from master to disciple can now be easily learned by anyone through online videos and archives. While some view this situation as a 'dilution of tradition,' shouldn't it rather be seen as a 'democratization of tradition'? The fact that diverse people have increased opportunities to engage with traditional performing arts, transcending physical distance and time constraints, is a great chance to broaden the base of culture. Even if the form of inheriting techniques changes, the mission to convey their essential value to the next generation will never waver, even in the digital age.
