The Significance of Deep Sea Exploration

Translation

About 70% of the Earth's surface is ocean, and the deep sea, which occupies the majority of it, remains shrouded in many mysteries. In harsh environments like high water pressure and extreme cold, sunlight does not reach, and a unique ecosystem that does not rely on photosynthesis has been formed. Due to recent advances in science and technology, deep-sea exploration has become more detailed than ever before. Not only do unknown organisms and energy resources sleep in the deep sea, but the keys to unraveling the Earth's climate change are also hidden there. Knowing the deep sea is synonymous with unraveling the history of the planet Earth. The quest for the unknown is an indispensable process for us to understand the environment that is Earth, not just for the development of science.
