休日(きゅうじつ)の過(す)ごし方(かた)

皆さんは休日(きゅうじつ)をどのように過(す)ごしていますか。私(わたし)は、平日(へいじつ)は忙(いそが)しくて部屋(へや)の掃除(そうじ)ができないので、土曜日(どようび)の午前中(ごぜんちゅう)は掃除と洗濯(せんたく)をすることに決(き)めています。家(いえ)がきれいになると、気(き)持(も)ちもすっきりします。

午後は、カフェに行ってのんびりしたり、公園を散歩したりします。たまには何もしないで、ただゆっくり休むことも大切ですね。リフレッシュすることで、また次の週も頑張ろうという気(き)持(も)ちになれます。

How do you all spend your holidays? Since I am busy on weekdays and cannot clean my room, I have decided to do cleaning and laundry on Saturday mornings. When the house becomes clean, my mood feels refreshed as well. In the afternoon, I go to a cafe to relax or take a walk in the park. Sometimes it is also important to do nothing and just rest slowly. By refreshing myself, I am able to feel like I can do my best in the coming week again.
