The Silence of the Forest

Translation

On the weekend, I went to a nearby forest to forget the noise of the city. Standing in the deep green, the cold air and the scent of the trees wrapped around my whole body. I usually only listen to smartphone notification sounds, but here, I can only hear the chirping of birds and the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. When I am in nature, my heart strangely calms down. Even if I have worries, I feel like the silence of the forest makes them smaller. Perhaps taking time to step away from the digital world and just look at the trees is truly important for modern people.
