日本の季節(きせつ)と行事(ぎょうじ)

日本には四季があります。春、夏、秋、冬です。それぞれの季節(きせつ)に、大切な行事(ぎょうじ)があります。例えば、春(はる)はお花見(はなみ)をして、桜(さくら)を見(み)ながらお弁当(べんとう)を食(た)べます。

そして、夏にはお祭りがあります。浴衣を着て、花火を見るのはとても楽しいです。季節(きせつ)を感じる文化は、日本人の生活にとても大切(たいせつ)です。

Translation

Japan has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. There are important events in each season. For example, in spring, we go cherry blossom viewing and eat bento while looking at the cherry blossoms. And in summer, there are festivals. Wearing a yukata and watching fireworks is very fun. The culture of feeling the seasons is very important to the lives of Japanese people.
