買い物(かいもの)に行(い)く

今日(きょう)は土曜日(どようび)だから、友達(ともだち)と一緒(いっしょ)にスーパーへ買い物(かいもの)に行きました(いきました)。冷蔵庫(れいぞうこ)の中(なか)に野菜(やさい)や卵(たまご)がほとんどなかったからです。

スーパーはとても混んでいました。私たちは安い野菜(やさい)や果物(くだもの)をたくさん買いました。帰りに(かえりに)カフェに寄って、ケーキを食べました。とても楽しい一日(いちにち)でした。

Translation

Since today is Saturday, I went shopping at the supermarket with a friend. This is because there were almost no vegetables or eggs in the refrigerator. The supermarket was very crowded. We bought a lot of cheap vegetables and fruits. On the way home, we stopped by a cafe and ate cake. It was a very fun day.
