海(うみ)か山(やま)か

夏休み(なつやすみ)は海(うみ)と山(やま)、どちらがいいですか。私(わたし)は海が好きです。泳(およ)いだり、砂浜(すなはま)で休(やす)んだりするのが楽(たの)しいからです。

でも、山(やま)もいいですね。涼しいし、きれいな空気を吸うことができます。最近は山登りをする人が増えています。私(わたし)も来年は山登り(やまのぼり)に挑戦(ちょうせん)したいです。皆(みな)さんはどちらに行(い)きたいですか。

For summer vacation, which is better, the beach or the mountains? I like the beach. That is because swimming and resting on the sandy beach is fun. But the mountains are nice, too. It is cool, and you can breathe in the clean air. Recently, the number of people who go mountain climbing is increasing. I want to try mountain climbing next year, too. Where do you all want to go?
