日本の服(ふく)

日本の伝統的な服(ふく)は着物(きもの)です。着物はとてもきれいです。でも、毎日着る人は少(すく)ないです。お祭(まつり)りや結婚式(けっこんしき)の時(とき)に着(き)ます。

今の日本人は、たいてい洋服(ふく)を着ます。私もジーンズやシャツが好(す)きです。でも、夏には浴衣(ゆかた)を着て、花火大会(たいかい)へ行(い)きたいです。

Translation

The traditional Japanese clothing is the kimono. Kimonos are very beautiful. However, few people wear them every day. They are worn during festivals or weddings. Modern Japanese people usually wear Western clothes. I also like jeans and shirts. However, in summer, I want to wear a yukata and go to a fireworks festival.
