How to remember it

至 means "reach/arrive"; common in the pattern 〜に至る (to reach as far as).

Example sentences

• 問題はここに至るまで大きくなった。

  もんだいはここにいたるまでおおきくなった。

  The problem grew until it reached this point.

• 北海道から沖縄に至るまで、全国で販売されている。

  ほっかいどうからおきなわにいたるまで、ぜんこくではんばいされている。

  It's sold nationwide, from Hokkaido all the way to Okinawa.
